Senior Business Analyst urgently needed for a long term contract opportunity with our client in South San Francisco, CA.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement, and develop and implement solutions.
• Ensure business requirements are researched, developed and implemented in line with Business Analysis best practices and methodology.
• Perform detailed requirements analysis, documenting processes, and performing some user acceptance testing.
• Review, draft, and outline business requirements that impact strategic initiatives and/or business unit objectives.
• In coordination with business partners and users, ensure that critical strategic decisions are vetted and well thought out prior to implementation.
• Effectively communicate insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
• Gather critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree.
• 15+ years' experience of business analysis in a corporate environment.
• Systems implementation experience.
• Must have experience with different methodologies.
• Ability to conceptualize, apply, analyze, synthesize, and evaluate information to determine solutions.
• Excellent documentation skills.
• Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
• Think analytically and be able to explain difficult concepts to non-technical users.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in a polished, professional manner.
• Exhibit the ability to be flexible and work in a rapidly and constantly changing environment.
• Manage multiple priorities and assist other in prioritization.
