Senior QA Engineer / Team Lead (SmartBear Test Complete). Market leading financial investment platform provider servicing investment portfolios of more than £19 billion is seeking a skilled Senior QA Engineer / Team Lead to head up a team of three manual / automated test engineers.
As a Senior QA Engineer / Team Lead you will be the primary point of contact for the Test Team; you'll provide line management in the form of 121s and help to develop the teams' skills, giving advice and ensuring best practice is followed. You'll also liaise with stakeholders to provide progress updates and work closely with Development teams and the Application Support Team to ensure software issues are properly tested and resolved.
Utilising your knowledge of software testing tools and techniques you will provide strategy and identify new tools and technologies to introduce as appropriate.
Requirements:
*Strong knowledge of manual and automated test techniques
*Ideally you will have experience with SmartBear (TestComplete)
*Experience of managing a team of QA Test Engineers, including 121s
*Good knowledge of the software development lifecycle and release management
*Ideally you will have experience with JIRA
*Excellent communication skills, pragmatic, approachable and collaborative
