Description

Summary : The Compliancy Coordinator ensures the effective collection, analysis, maintenance, and reporting of school data for compliance purposes and is responsible for all student and school record entry and maintenance in preparation for State audit and review.



Essential Functions: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

· Manages data reports related to pilot programs and special initiatives for both schools;

· Tracks event attendance for staff and students for Family Support Coordinator;

· Creates and provides summary reports, as requested by Director of Accountability, for review at senior leadership;

· Oversees outreach to engage students who are not attending school or need more detailed information to support their individual schooling;

· Performs data entry into the student information system (SIS); Verifies accuracy, corrects errors and resolves issues to minimize funding loss;

· Monitors all deadlines communicated by State departments of education for compliance functions; Supports administrators with completion of reports to regulatory entities and K12;

· Develops systems to track compliance items, e.g. 45 day screenings, teacher certifications, fingerprint clearance cards for all staff members, free/reduced lunch data, etc.;

· Develops, implements and enforces processes to audit student and employee files on a quarterly basis; Verifies student attendance records, including source data and uploads;

· Maintains all necessary records required for State audit related to student performance and progress through the mastery of all K12 data systems;

· Develops, implements and enforces processes to conduct annual internal audits aligned to the State Board for Charter Schools legal compliance questionnaire;

· Regularly communicates all compliance-related processes and issues to stakeholders.

· Serves as the school's subject matter expert for clarification and requests on issues including student information, staff certification and course information, etc.; Serves as the on-site expert for student information systems (SIS);

· Develops and implements processes to track staff metrics;

· Develops, implements and enforces processes to manage related service provider data.
Requirements

Minimum Required Qualifications
:

· Bachelor's degree AND

· One (1) year of experience OR

· Equivalent combination of education and experience

Certificates and Licenses : None required.

OTHER REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

· Organizational and time management skills

· Project management experience

· Experience with sampling and auditing practices

· Experience using a student management database

· Professional experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint

· Ability to pass required background check

· Ability to obtain required fingerprint clearance
