Senior Engineering Project Manager
As our Senior Engineering Project Manager you play a key role in leading a team in development and delivery of projects for a wide range of commercial cooking equipment. You are responsible for making certain projects are on budget, on time, and meet or exceed customer expectations. You have the opportunity to be involved with implementing and supporting new products, product improvements, product enhancements, customization, solving customer related problems, creating new processes, and assist with other project managers in the organization. In addition, you will work to fulfill the needs of a diverse customer base both internally and externally. We are offering a $5,000 Sign-On Bonus for this position!!

Your contribution to the team includes:
- Complete and maintain a product design requirements (PDR) documentation.
- Complete and maintain project and product risks documentation along with mitigation plans for each identified risk.
- Complete and follow a project plan that meets fulfills the PDR and addresses all risks. The plan will include tasks and milestones for development, validation, pre-production, quality controls, and customer/technical support.
- Develop and maintain project KPIs (time, budget, and tracking to the plan). Report on a minimum of monthly basis.
- Identify the core team for the project and clarify the member’s roles and responsibilities.
- Establish a team site for file sharing, collaboration, and central project repository for team members.
- Lead project team and project core team meetings with clear meeting goals and expectations.
- Resolve any resource issues with functional managers.
- Follow the NPD process and implement any formal changes to the process.
- Conduct and provide deliverables to all gate meetings.
- Critical component part/assemblies are identified and addressed.
- Keeping the team motivated and moving forward.
- Own project problems or setback that may come up while executing to the project plan.
- Conduct sprint reviews as needed.
- Any and all IP has been identified, protected, and submitted to legal.\
- Weekly project report to reporting manager.
- Any customer business agreements have been assigned and completed.
- Train, mentor, or coach peers for their professional development.
- Makes certain project meet IP/patent application requirements.
- Consistently models the Company Values and Expected Behaviors.
- Present project updates to internal & external company executive management.
- Conduct Design Failure Mode Effect Analysis.
- Provide innovative solutions to projects.
- Work with suppliers, customers and subsidiary inquiries.
- Lead Design Review meetings.
- Train, mentor and coach junior engineers to assist in their professional development.
- Work with all levels of engineering and other business units.
- Other duties as assigned.
What you’ll bring:
- B.S. degree in engineering
- 10+ years of engineering and/or project management experience
- PMP (Professional Management Professional) certification from PMI (Project Management Institute) preferred
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
- Able to fully detail, maintain, and address product requirements, project risks, and the project plan
- Provide project updates to a wide audience. This includes any project issues along with resolutions, updates on addressing risks, and tracking to the project plan.
- Proficient with MS office and project management software
- Proven project track record of completing projects on time, on budget, and meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
