CRNA / Nurse Anesthetist

Job Description :We are seeking a CRNA for its anesthesia team at a hospital located in Bronx, NY.

Position Requirements
?Çó Weekend and overnight shifts
?Çó Holds a current license as a registered professional nurse and complies with any applicable state statutory or requirements concerning the advanced practice of nursing
?Çó Graduation from a program of nurse anesthesia education accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (COA) or its predecessor
?Çó Complies with one of the following requirements regarding certification; or initial certification or recertification:
- Meets requirements above and is awaiting on initial certification; or
- Is currently certified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists or it predecessor; or
- Is currently recertified by the AANA Council on Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists


The Community - The Bronx is the northernmost of the five boroughs of New York City. Coextensive with Bronx County, it was the last of the 62 counties of New York State to be incorporated. Located north of Manhattan and Queens, and south of Westchester County, the Bronx is the only borough that is located primarily on the mainland (a very small portion of Manhattan, the Marble Hill neighborhood, is physically located on the mainland, due to the rerouting of the Harlem River in 1897).
