Are you a reliable and motivated, with strong interpersonal, organisational and financial skills? Are you driven by social purpose? StreetDoctors is looking for an enthusiastic and committed part-time Director of Operations and Finance to join their team. The role will be 3 days a week and is offered at 0.6 of the FTE Salary advertised.

About StreetDoctors:
StreetDoctors is a small but ambitious charity committed to making a difference to the lives of young people at risk of serious violence. Their network of nearly 400 dedicated medical volunteers teach young people what to do when someone is bleeding or unconscious. They challenge attitudes to violence, and support young people to make positive choices. They currently have 18 teams delivering training in 16 cities across the UK, 4 of which are in London.

About the Role:
You will be responsible for managing their service delivery teams and will oversee operations, finance, IT, HR, and legal functions. Solid experience in operations is essential for this role and experience in finance is highly desirable. You will be a strategic thinker and planner with finance skills, an eye for detail and the ability to understand what it takes to turn vision into action. You will be practical and focused, willing to do what it takes to get a job done.

You will be passionate about volunteering and social action and able to build strong relationships with StreetDoctors volunteers and other stakeholders. You will demonstrate a genuine commitment to the organisation's growth and success and StreetDoctors' unique mission. Your involvement within the organisation will ensure that the charity is able to thrive and have further reach to achieve its objectives.

Candidate Profile:
The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience in an operations and/or finance position within a charity. You need to be adaptable, flexible, and as comfortable rolling your sleeves up and getting engaged with practical tasks as you are discussing long term strategy and goals. You will have proven experience of budgeting and financial management as well as inspiring the team around you.

You will need to be a team player, and be aligned with the values of volunteering and social action. You will be practical and focused, able to work independently and function as a vital part of a small team. You will be utterly reliable and organised with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
