Assistant, Associate or Full Professor (HS Clin, Clin X, Adjunct, In-Residence) Movement Disorder Clinician/Specialist

The Department of Neurosciences at the University of California San Diego (UCSD) (http://neurosciences.ucsd.edu/) is committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff and student body and is seeking faculty in the movement disorder specialty.


The position is designed for clinicians interested in becoming members of an interdisciplinary team. The successful candidate(s) will participate in the clinical assessment and management of patients with movement disorders in an academic environment.


Candidates must have an MD degree or a PhD in Neurosciences, Neurology or related fields. Candidates with an MD must be board eligible or board certified and have, or be eligible for, a California medical license. Candidates with an MD must also have completed Neurology training and have completed Fellowship training in Movement Disorders, or have a track record of clinical expertise in this area. ECCMG Certification for foreign candidates is required.


The appropriate series and appointment at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level will be based on the candidate's qualifications and experience.

Salary is commensurate with qualifications and based on the University of California pay scales. Appointments may require candidates to be self-funded.
