The University of Texas Southwestern Medical center is seeking a BC/BE Pediatrician for the Complex Care Program. This was created to provide primary care within a medical home for children and youth with complex medical conditions. The Program utilizes an integrated team-based approach to decrease treatment fragmentation and unnecessary utilization of care while aiming to improve quality of life for children and their families.

Clinical expectations include out-patient care in the Complex Care Medical Home and in-patient consultation for the cohort of children in the practice. The successful candidate is expected to actively participate in scholarly activities including teaching residents and medical students rotating through the clinic. Academic rank will be commensurate with academic accomplishments and experience.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience treating children with medical complexity but graduating residents are welcome to apply. Consideration may be given to applicants seeking less than a full-time schedule.
