IT Specialist
Nature of Work

Coordinate awarding, re-awarding, reporting, and communication processes between Admissions, Financial Aid, Foundation, and Academic Schools for scholarship awarding.
Revise and create reports for analysis of scholarship effectiveness in recruiting and retention. Analyze fundraising data for the WSC Foundation.

Examples of Work Performed

All examples are in the format ITIL Service-ITIL Role(s). ITIL Roles are standardized by ITIL. Words such as Manager, Analyst, etc. in ITIL Role titles have no relationship to use of those words in job titles or nature of work text.
1. Online scholarship application – Process Practitioner
Perform annual refresh and configuration of the online scholarship application system.
2. Scholarship application/awarding process – Process practitioner
Coordinate between Admissions, Financial Aid, Foundation, and Academic Schools to ensure smooth and efficient scholarship awarding and re-awarding.
3. Scholarship reporting/analysis – Service owner
Annually refresh and redesign scholarship analysis reports to meet institutional needs.
4. Foundation fundraising reporting/analysis – Service owner
Annually refresh and redesign fundraising analysis reports to meet foundation needs.
5. Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Within 20 credit hours of completion of a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

3 years experience or advanced degree in a related field.

IT Technician
Nature of Work

Entry Level Skilled) Examples of IT focus areas include Networking, Software, Systems or Security.

Install/Config/Maintain: Currently supported technology 
Troubleshoot: Basic related to configuration, installation and maintenance
Create & Design: Student worker schedules, basic web content 
Monitor: Technologies via available pre-configured monitoring tools
Lead/Team Role: No “lead” role but may organize and train student workers
