POSITION SUMMARY //
Monster Children is looking for a talented and driven events & marketing coordinator to join their LA team.

This is a full time role based in our Los Angeles office. You must have a valid driver’s license and the required visa enabling you to live and work in the United States.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES //

GENERAL DUTIES
• Support the General Manager and Events & Marketing Manager to work with partners and artists/content creators to activate around MC’s 1700 Naud Gallery and additional MC content platforms.
• Work with General Manager and Events & Marketing Manager to ensure 1700 Naud continually reflects Monster Children’s creative values, aesthetic, and ethos.
• Support General Manager and Events & Marketing Manager across multiple capacities, including but not limited to: content creation, event production, marketing/PR, general admin, and retail.
• Ensure office and event spaces are well maintained and presentable at all times.
• Help out on occasional MC content production shoots.
• Help manage Monster Children’s online store.

EVENT PRODUCTION
• Work directly with General Manager, Events & Marketing Manager, brand partners, and artists to support, plan, and execute 1700 Naud events on a regular basis.
• Support the Events & Marketing Manager in the successful execution of all production aspects of in-house events held in the MCLA space, including but not limited to: issue release parties, art and photo shows, live music events, video premieres, private dinners, branded activations, etc.
• Work directly with vendors approved by Events & Marketing Manager for the successful execution of each event.
• Help manage production of semi-annual murals.
• Keep up to date on happenings and partnership opportunities.

OFFICE/ADMINISTRATION
• Mailroom duties, including shipping and receiving of all packages.
• General cleaning and tidying of office, gallery, and retail spaces.
• Welcoming guests and brand partners for meetings.
• Booking office accommodations and travel within approved budgets.
• Ensure office and event space are properly stocked with supplies and materials.
• Occasional pickups and drop-offs of equipment for content and event productions.

MARKETING & PROMOTION
• Work directly with General Manager and Events & Marketing Manager to help gather content, strategize, and execute social media strategies across all MC and 1700 Naud channels.
• Help manage the Monster Children subscription list.
• Help distribute Monster Children to local places of interests, including coffee shops, restaurants, retail boutiques, etc.
• Create, build and maintain strong relationships with industry professionals and identify potential partnerships and promotional opportunities for Monster Children.

RETAIL
• Work with General Manager and Events & Marketing Manager to ensure the MCLA retail shop is properly stocked with inventory and meeting sales & awareness goals.
• Work with General Manager and Events & Marketing Manager to manage all retail transactions.
• Provide exceptional customer service for all retail sales across digital and physical channels, including returns, inquiries, orders, etc.
• Continually identify retail opportunities and potential collaborations with artists and brand partners to sell in 1700 Naud and on digital platforms.
