Position Summary:
The Certified Medical Assistant performs a variety of patient care activities to assist physicians. Prepares the examination room for the patient and takes patient vital signs and records vitals in medical chart. Performs basic in office test and performs EKG's. Adminsiters children and adult vaccines. This position also maintains and updates patient's medical history. Performs other duties as assigned.

As certified medical assistants, we perform a variety of duties in medical offices from managing insurance claims to taking patient’s vital signs. We assist patients by providing clinical and business office help in the offices and health care providers. Our duties involve preparing patients for health care visits by guiding and directing them to the examination room. Our responsibilities include verifying patient information by interviewing them and recording medical history. Our duties also include conforming purpose of visit and treatment of the patients. We have to keep healthcare supplies ready all the time by recording stock and placing orders.
