Wapiti Medical Staffing is seeking a board certified or board eligible physician to join an existing group of four physicians in an Emergency Medicine department located in Spirit Lake, Iowa. This opportunity is for a physician trained in FM, EM, IM.
POSITION/FACILITY DETAILS
- Permanent position for ED coverage in Spirit Lake, Iowa
- 24 hour shifts/ flexibility of 12 hours shifts/ Furnished apartment on campus
- Market area 17, 000
- Join a group of 4 full-time physicians
- 49 bed facility, Level IIII trauma center
- Average 20 ED visits daily, 8, 000 annually (seasonal variability)
- Patient Mix: 70/30 Adults to Peds
- Full time employment is 1728 hours annually
- Avel’ s eEmergency telemedicine partnership
- 2-3 nurses on staff 24 hours a day
- Additional Advanced Practice Provider for support during weekends.
- Ambulance and paramedic team in house
