Pediatric Radiologist with Abdominal Imaging experience Assistant/Associate/Professor

Supports H1 Visa Candidates

The Division of Pediatric Radiology at UPMC/University of Pittsburgh, one of the largest pediatric radiology services in the nation, is currently accepting applications for Pediatric Radiologists specializing in non-neuro, non-interventional imaging. Duties for this position will consist of a mix of clinical, teaching, and research responsibilities. Applicants must have an MD degree or equivalent, must be board eligible or certified in radiology, and must be eligible for unrestricted licensure in Pennsylvania. Completion of an ACGME accredited diagnostic radiology residency is required. Fellowship training in pediatric radiology, or equivalent experience is required.

The Division, based out of the new Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC, consists of highly-skilled, fellowship-trained pediatric radiologists who provide specialized imaging, diagnostic interpretation, and offer cutting-edge interventional procedures. Children’s, a 1.5 million-square-foot facility located in the Lawrenceville section of Pittsburgh, has consistently appeared in U.S. News & World Report, as well as Child magazine’s pediatric hospital rankings. As one of the world’s only green pediatric hospitals, Children's features private rooms, a dramatic healing garden, and research tower. In addition to services at Children's, Division faculty also cover neonates at Magee-Womens Hospital of UPMC, and provide general radiology services at Children's north, east and south ambulatory care centers.

Teaching opportunities include supervision and education of ACGME and advanced pediatric imaging fellows and residents from the University of Pittsburgh as well as additional affiliated, highly regarded residencies. With over 4 million dollars in funded grants, a large research lab and ample opportunities for mentoring and collaboration, the Division of Pediatric Radiology offers a collegial atmosphere, cutting edge innovation, and the opportunity for personal and career satisfaction.

Thank you for your consideration. Please let me know if you have interest in this opportunity and I will facilitate getting you additional information.

Kind Regards,

Jill Allen
