This North Florida health system in Jacksonville, FL is seeking psychiatrists for a core faculty role with the hospital Psychiatry Residency Program. The practice set up is an outpatient clinic Monday - Friday with the ability to help cover inpatients on weekend if so desired. This is a supervisory role for residents in training.

Qualifications:
* Board certified Psychiatry
* Must demonstrate a work history of positive, collegial relations with colleagues, support staff, hospital-based
providers, administrators, and patients while providing effective care and resident education.

Candidates with recent scholarly activity such as peer reviewed funding, publication of original research or review articles in peer-reviewed journals, chapters in textbooks, publication or presentation of case reports or clinical series at scientific society meetings, or participation in national committees or educations organizations highly encouraged to apply.

Founded in 1974, the Medical Center has grown from a small community hospital to a top healthcare provider in northeast Florida. We are a full-service, acute-care hospital with 317 inpatient beds, providing medical care to Clay County and surrounding communities. The hospital has 170 private rooms. There are nine labor, delivery and recovery room suites for new mothers and a seven-bed, Level-2 neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) for premature babies and those born with special needs. There is also a 24-bed psychiatric unit, 20-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit and 20 intensive care unit (ICU) beds.
