Job Description

Printpack, a leading manufacturer of flexible packaging products, is seeking qualified candidates to fill a Wrapper opening at their VR2 facility located in Villa Rica, Georgia.

Pay: $18.13 - $27.19 per hour depending on experience

Schedule: Night Shift 8:00pm - 8:00am on a 3/2 schedule

Benefits:

  • Up to $110 for steel toed shoes
  • Up to $135 for uniforms
  • Up to $125 for prescription safety glasses
  • Overtime
Minimum Requirements:
  • High school diploma or G.E.D.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Experience in a manufacturing facility is preferred.
Internal Applicants:
  • Last performance review was rated "Performer" or higher.
  • No disciplinary actions beyond a verbal within the past 120 days.
  • Must have been in current position for 120 days.
Job Responsibilities:
  • To effectively wrap skids into finished goods for storage in the warehouse.
  • Produce wrap skids/ and create finished goods labels.
  • Use PRISM to determine the appropriate pallet # as needed/job check out.
  • Box inventory rolls and skids from rewind
  • Pay attention to details and be the "last quality check."
  • Maintains Department 5S Standards, including following and completing cleaning checklists and stocking supplies
  • Keeping T-CART'S running for slitting
  • Keeping conveyor line cleared to keep slitters running

    I start with Printpack in 2005 starting working in Newport News, VA , and worked in Williansburg too , i learn over there to packing , selectional good products, drive folklift , work in team , interacción with people of others countrys that talk differents lenguage, to give trainer to the news co-workers , i love work in this company , and i'm sure if i come back and the company hired me again will to win someone that will put the heart up for Printpack

    Worked there from June 1992 to August 2014. Awesome place to work until they closed the doors locally, because they opened brand new plants in Poland, China, and Mexico. We were a casualty of the Obama administration, like most companies in that era.

Packers & Packagers Wrapper

We, the wrappers, are responsible for wrapping, weighing, and pricing products, slicing and preparing larger pieces of a particular product for display. We keep the counter area clean after completing our task. We do customer service, have complete knowledge of products, have the stamina, flexibility, and good numeracy skills, and we work in various environments.
