Hospitalist opening in NE Located in Hastings, NE Full-Time & Permanent Seeking a BE/BC Hospitalist to join hospital. - Adult inpatient hospital medicine services are currently provided by a Hospitalist Service that employs a combination of board certified physicians trained in Internal Medicine and Family Practice. - Hospitalist service patient care is limited to the adult medical population. - Internal Medicine or Family Medicine with clinical training in the full spectrum of adult inpatient medicine. - The successful candidate will be actively involved in the inpatient setting, providing general medical care and management of hospitalized patients. - Essential duties will include admission, care management of, and discharge of patients on behalf of primary care staff physicians utilizing the service, primary care physicians from outside communities who lack admitting privileges, specialty physicians who refer patients for admission to the Hospital or unassigned patients who are admitted through the emergency department. Location: Hastings is a city and county seat of Adams County, Nebraska, United States. It is known as the town where Kool-Aid was invented by Edwin Perkins in 1927, and celebrates that event with the Kool-Aid Days festival every August.
