Call Center Representatives (Town – Kapolei) #18128

Primary duties: 

• Assist with administrative tasks related to claims.
• Assist members, doctors or hospitals, and internal departments with their medical claims inquiries via telephone, email or correspondence.
• Escalate complex claims issues to appropriate staff members for further research and coordination of resolution activities.
• Create clear and concise documentation of all customer interactions as required for escalation or audit purposes.  
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Strong relationship building, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Prior experience is highly preferred:
  • Working in a call center
  • Working in a medical/clinical setting
• Available to work overtime on weekdays and Saturdays as needed.

Additional Information:

• Position Type: Temporary through 12/31/20 with possible extension
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 4:15pm + overtime & Saturdays as needed
• Location: Must be able to commute to Honolulu for first 6 months, then Kapolei, for the remainder of the assignment.
