  • Title: ServiceNow Senior Developer (100% remote)
  • Duration: 1 year Contract
  • Location: 100% remote ( HQ) Los Angeles
  • Pay Rate: $65.00 to $75.00 per hour

SUMMARY: The ServiceNow Senior Developer is part of a team responsible for ensuring the successful operation, development and integration of our Cloud ServiceNow service management platform. The ServiceNow Senior Developer will engage cloud and client services teams to establish, prioritize and implement our Cloud service management platform requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Align ServiceNow platform capabilities to business strategy and ServiceNow roadmap
  • Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and implement solutions
  • Stay current on ServiceNow products and applicable integrated technologies
  • Develop, test, and implement new capabilities on the ServiceNow DEV/PROD platform
  • Perform ServiceNow upgrades, action skipped changes and create/run tests
  • Provide and lead ServiceNow Training for internal teams
  • Troubleshoot ServiceNow related issues and manage a ticketing queue
  • Oversee and maintain performance of ServiceNow instance
  • Maintain and manage large discovery environments using multiple MID servers
  • Review solutions and code created by other team members
  • Migrate code through environments and resolve version conflicts
  • Create and maintain ServiceNow Portal and related widgets
  • Write and maintain client/UI and server-side business logic scripts
  • Develop and maintain UI Policies, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Macros, Data Policies, ACLs, Notifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (Required)
  • 5+ years as a ServiceNow Developer
  • 4+ years ServiceNow Client and Server-side scripting with hands-on coding and code development
  • Deep understanding of ServiceNow APIs especially GlideRecord
  • Application integrations experience using APIs, web services, scripts and transform maps such as REST and SOAP
  • Highly adept in web content programming using HTML5 and AngularJS with Jelly syntax
  • Authentication protocols know-how including SSO, LDAP, OAuth, SAML over TLSComplex Orchestration experience and an understanding of the underlying technologies
  • Strong automation skills in Workflow and Flow Designer
  • Proficient in ServiceNow ITSM knowledge - Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, Service Catalog management processes, ITBM Agile project management and Performance Analytics/ Dashboards
  • Understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) related to common service level agreement (SLA) measurements
  • Experience with creating and maintaining scripted REST APIs with expertise in out-of-box APIs such as the Table API.
  • Familiarity with JDBC, ODBC database programming interfaces
  • Highly skilled with Domain Separation for cloud data segregation and familiar with challenges and pitfalls
  • Demonstrated skills troubleshooting device discovery issues.
  • Broad general knowledge of IT infrastructure and Public Cloud IaaS topology including typical application, server and networking configurations
  • Proficient in Active Directory logical, hierarchical organization of directory services for ServiceNow integration
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to convey technical information to a non-technical audience.
  • Exceptional planning, organizational, analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work well in a cross-functional, matrix management environment with a highly collaborative, team-oriented approach to problem solving
  • Ability to handle political, client cultural situations with a minimum of oversight
  • Experience in defining measurable business performance improvements and in measuring "hard" business benefits.
  • Comfortable in discussing issues, strategy and negotiating with project executives.

Must Have Requirements: Experience Implementing the following: HR/IS, ITSM, SAM, Ticketing, Incident & COVID

Preferred Requirements:

  • Bachelors’ Degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or Information Systems
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (Desired)
  • ServiceNow Implementation Specialist (Desired)
  • Microsoft Azure AZ-900 (Desired)
  • PowerShell, shell scripting and Azure PowerShell is a plus
  • ServiceNow Scoped applications, Next Experience/UI Builder/component development and Test Management and Automated Test Framework are all a plus
