Biostatistician (US)

Avania is hiring - Biostatisticians (All Levels) - USA

The main responsibility of the Biostatistics role is to complete the biostatistical tasks requested by clients.

The role of a Biostatistician will involve the following: 

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop Statistical Analysis Plans
• Use SAS to program and validate tables, listings and figures
• Interact with other analytical services team members and project team members from other departments at Avania
• Define and program data visualization dashboards (SAS, PowerBI) and other trial data analytics
• Standardize data structures
• Identify data trends and safety concerns

Functional Requirements:

• Degree in Biostatistics, Statistics, Life Sciences, Bioinformatics or other relevant field (master’s degree preferred)
• Experience with: 
  • Statistical programming in SAS (required)
  • Statistical data analysis
  • Clinical research
  • CDISC standards and programming 
  • Accuracy with strong attention to detail
  • GCP and/or ISO14155 knowledge (a plus, not required) 
• Proficient in the use of computer and software systems
• Excellent communication skills
• Team player
• Fluent in English
