The main responsibility of the Biostatistics role is to complete the biostatistical tasks requested by clients.
The role of a Biostatistician will involve the following:
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop Statistical Analysis Plans
- Use SAS to program and validate tables, listings and figures
- Interact with other analytical services team members and project team members from other departments at Avania
- Define and program data visualization dashboards (SAS, PowerBI) and other trial data analytics
- Standardize data structures
- Identify data trends and safety concerns
Functional Requirements:
- Degree in Biostatistics, Statistics, Life Sciences, Bioinformatics or other relevant field (master’s degree preferred)
- Experience with:
- Statistical programming in SAS (required)
- Statistical data analysis
- Clinical research
- CDISC standards and programming
- Accuracy with strong attention to detail
- GCP and/or ISO14155 knowledge (a plus, not required)
- Proficient in the use of computer and software systems
- Excellent communication skills
- Team player
- Fluent in English
