Ross Aviation is currently seeking new team members who share our passion for customer service excellence and the aviation industry! The Shop Helper is a critical position on our team and responsible for providing a friendly, professional and courteous experience to all Ross Aviation customers, suppliers and employees. This position will report to the General Manager and is located in Fairbanks, AK.

Key duties include:

• Clean shop and related offices and grounds
• Make local part runs
• Assist Mechanics in their duties
• Snow plowing, snow blowing and shoveling around the yard

Qualified candidates will:

• Be highly organized, motivated and detail-oriented.
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
• Be comfortable working on a small, but mighty team, and pitch in wherever needed.
• Be passionate about going the extra mile to service our customers.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent (strongly preferred, but not required).
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs for parts training
• Clear driving record
• Be a minimum of 18 years of age.

Expected Hours of Work:

• This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week. Work schedule will be flexible with morning, evenings, nights and weekends included. 5 by 8 or 4 by 10 schedule.
