We are looking for a qualified candidate to fill the position of an HQ Staff Accountant or Sr. Accountant. In addition, lead expense planning, reporting and analysis with HQ Department managers. Includes some travel, as needed. Hybrid work at home/office is current approach to meeting business needs in the Finance department.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting activities, reconciliation of accounts, and generation of monthly financial statements.
• Responsible to process all general ledger entries (supporting documentation, calculations, analysis) and bank account reconciliations
• Reviews trial balance accounts, financial statements and identify account variances
• Participates in the monthly forecast and annual Budgeting process
• Assists in the management reporting (actuals, budgets, forecasts, product profitability)
• Assists in the company's annual external audit, tax reporting (1099, property tax, sales tax exemption) and statutory government reporting including maintenance of business licenses
• Assists in treasury and insurance management process for company.
• Leads Q2 customer online reporting process
• Prepares and communicates allocation cross billing process (within region, cross region)
• Creating, updating, organizing and maintaining spreadsheets

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (preferred), Finance or Economics
• Experience: 3 to 5+ years as HQ Staff Accountant or 2 to 5+ years as Sr. HQ Staff Accountant
• The ideal candidate for this role is highly analytical, detail oriented and collaborative.
• Ability to adapt quickly and learn new tasks independently
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Outlook)
• Hands-on experience with ERP manufacturing software (preferred - SAP, AS 400,Infineum)
• Experience (preferred) with financial consolidation reporting systems (BPC, HFM)
• Work experience in a design and manufacturing company (preferred)
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Evidence of analytical and problem-solving skills with problem resolution based on sound, knowledgeable judgement and experience.
• Mid to Expert level MS Excel proficiency is required
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with all levels in the company.
