Director, International Growth Strategy

We're Looking For A: Director, International Growth Strategy who will own our sales growth into current and new international markets to increase revenue to be in excess of $100M by 2023. Work closely with regulatory and marketing teams for product approvals as well as localize and optimize our sales funnels for international growth. Ensure international growth is legally compliant in all aspects (GDPR, etc.) and minimize risk by adhering to each countries' individual food and drug regulations and other legal requirements. This position will play a pivotal role in shaping both product strategy and business decisions through research, data analysis, cross-functional partnerships, and strong go-to-market programs. Will be responsible for driving the quantitative and qualitative analysis needed to support key international growth initiatives Will lead with a test and learn the mindset and strategically manage overall marketing plans and execution in partnership with product, business, and marketing teams.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Partner with Product Marketing, Quality & Regulatory teams to prioritize ingredient/product approvals based on sales growth opportunity, drive such approvals using cross functional resources.
- Own international sales performance (spend and ROI) by collaborating with the relevant marketing teams.
- Own international business metrics and collaborate with other departments to make the relevant business decisions (fulfillment, return rates, shipping costs, customer service, including messaging, and customer experience).
- Oversee market research by monitoring competitors through Business Intelligence tools and maintain up-to-date knowledge of the global market for the product area
- Collaborate with the Digital Acquisition Managers to optimize our sales funnels to improve CVR and customer experience for the given international market. (For example localizing cart currencies).
- If appropriate, identify and pursue new international markets beyond the countries we are currently running
- Prepare and present recommendations, reports and action plans based on data to senior executives.

- 7-10 years consumer product marketing experience.
- Deep expertise managing conversion focused direct to consumer advertising, with at least 4 years of international business experience, preferably in Canada, UK or Australia.
- 2+ years leading/building small/medium sized teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising or other relevant field
