Software Application Architect

Scope Of Work:

Capio Group is looking for an Application Architect to provide technical expertise in the maintenance and operations (M&O) phase of the client project, as well as during the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) phases for all activities instituted and performed by the System Integrator (SI).
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Review and evaluate project plans, designs, test results, and other artifacts from the perspective of industry standards and best-practices, and the technical architecture and performance requirements of the client.
• Review system diagrams, models, technical workflows, technical specifications, technical design deliverables and other technical design artifacts developed by the project for compliance with contract terms and conditions.
• Provide analysis, expertise, and recommendations for the development and acceptance of system architecture deliverables, including input on cost and technical issues.
• Review technical components developed by the project for compliance with approved technical design specifications by performing code reviews; inspecting the installation, operation, and performance of hardware, software and network components; and performing other technical assessments to support evidence-based findings, conclusions, and recommendations.
• Review project test plans to ensure that testing for compliance with technical requirements, including, but not necessarily limited to, security, performance, and capacity, is adequately addressed.
• Review test results to ensure that expected results are achieved with respect to technical requirements.
• Continuously monitor and assess the application and use of technical standards, methods, and tools by the project.
• Monitor and assess both processes and outcomes for all aspects of technical architecture, design, and operational performance. Continuously monitor, assess, and evaluate processes, procedures, controls, key deliverables, and other artifacts of SI performance for appropriate quality attributes, including, for example, effectiveness, contract compliance, adherence to applicable standards, traceability, consistency, completeness, accuracy, and compliance with performance standards.
• Work collaboratively with client project management and project stakeholders to ensure that review, evaluation, and monitoring of SI technical activities are conducted in a coordinated manner and that management of issues and risks is coordinated at the project level.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience programming in Java.

2. Must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience with web services.

3. Must have a minimum of two (2) years of networking experience.

4. Must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience with different software development life cycles (e.g., waterfall, iterative).

5. Must have a minimum of two (2) years of experience with Spring batch.

6. Must have a minimum of two (2) years of experience working in an Oracle hardware environment.

7. Must have a minimum of two (2) years of experience working with Oracle Web Server.

8. Must have a minimum of two (2) years of experience working in an Oracle and SQL database environment.
