Part Time Customer Service Representative

Mr. Handyman of Princeton, Robbinsville and Newtown is a locally owned home improvement company that covers the areas around Princeton, NJ and Newtown, PA. We are a small business that delivers top quality repairs and customer service. We are seeking someone who can help our current CSR in a variety of ways.

• Helping to answer the phone and respond to online inquiries/emails
• Calling customers to confirm appointments or follow up to ensure they are happy
• Reviewing and discussing our dispatch schedule
• Reviewing customer pictures, posting them to accounts, working with our technicians on estimates
• Helping to post project pictures to social media

Experience with home improvement is a plus. Any experience with ServiceTitan is a plus. This may be a good fit for someone who has been a CSR for Mr. Handyman or a Neighborly company no matter where you live. This may have the potential to become full time down the road as we grow. We typically work from our office in Pennington, NJ but are currently working remotely due to COVID-19.

Compensation: $16-18/hour

Mr. Handyman of Princeton and Robbinsville and Mr. Handyman of Newtown and Yardley is a locally owned professional handyman service. We deliver high quality repairs on the small to medium sized jobs that the bigger contractors prefer not to do. Our goal is to do so with strong communication from our office and our technicians who work together as a true team.

Our technicians are full time employees and they are tradesmen who are quite versatile, communicate well, and have passed background checks. We guarantee their work for a year. The office staff communicates well with customers in the manner they prefer, phone, email, or text message. Our technicians are experienced, it just takes many years of experience to do the variety of work that we do with the quality and efficiency that our customers expect. Many of them join us after running their own businesses. Running the business and doing the work is incredibly hard, here they can take pride in the work they do, have the support of the office, stop chasing estimates, and they have a more predictable income with less risk.

Our office staff is focused on delivering strong customer service. They talk to customers and the technicians throughout the day, booking jobs, managing the schedule, and following up with customers to confirm that the work went well.

We provide a wide range of services that include, but are not to, drywall, door installation and repair, wood rot repair, cabinet repair, caulking, grouting, tile, painting, carpentry, molding, window installation, gutter and repair, toilet and faucet repair, flooring, ceiling fan replacement, exhaust fan replacement, and light fixture replacement. We are locally owned and cover the territories around Princeton, NJ and Newtown PA. In NJ this includes Princeton, Princeton Junction, West Windsor, Lawrenceville, Lawrence Township, Hamilton, Hopewell, Pennington, Skillman, and Belle Mead. In PA this includes Newtown, Yardley, Washington Crossing, New Hope, Furlong, Buckingham, Langhorne, Holland, Southampton and Richboro.
