RemX is seeking an experienced Support Specialist. This role will be a combination of customer service & support. In this role, you will be assigned to clients (after training) and you will take inbound calls and emails to assist customers with payroll questions, look up information, enter payroll data, and educate the client about payroll, taxes, and child support garnishments, and or insurance.

- Training Schedule: 8AM-6PM Mon-Fri
- Training & Work Location: Onsite (Not Remote)
- Training Length: A total of 5 weeks. (Three (3) weeks classroom + two (2) weeks nesting period (Training hours 8-5)
This is an overflow inbound call center model, where you are taking client calls when the client’s assigned specialist is unavailable at that moment. (average 80+ calls/day). You will be working in a fast-paced, back-to-back call environment. These calls are transactional and very solution-based where you are answering questions, looking up information, entering payroll data, and educating the client about payroll, taxes, child support, garnishment, and/or insurance. It is rewarding and challenging because clients really do lean on us for 1000 different reasons.
You will receive your own set of clients to support. You get to know them, they get to know you, and you are able to build that relationship as you work with them over and over, every pay period. This is an outbound call model with scheduled calls for clients to collect payroll information. Additionally, you will have availability for inbound calls from your clients and have heavy email interactions. Follow-up with your clients adds challenge/complexity to this role. You will not receive inbound calls from just anyone’s clients as you did as a Rapid Response Specialist.
Both roles are extremely fast-paced, and you need to be able to multi-task, have great time management skills, and pivot throughout the day depending on what pops up.
