Software Developer I (Remote)

To design, code, test, implement, maintain and document system and internet application software. Analyze business requirements to determine feasibility and programming requirements. Provide utility functions such as running reports, running queries, application testing and log file monitoring. Detect problems and define solutions for software implementations. Utilize existing development standards to satisfy user requirements. To include: C#, ASP.Net, T-SQL, Team Foundation Server, web APIs, Javascript, jQuery, and XML. Additionally, candidate should have a working knowledge of HTML code and design using CSS and related concepts.

III. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

1. Follow established coding standards to design, code and maintain Travel and Transport system and web applications.
2. Application troubleshooting including root cause analysis and coding bug fixes.
3. Analyze business requests and provide management with accurate time estimates and completion dates.
4. Utility functions such as running reports, running queries, application testing and log file monitoring.
5. Participate in training activities.
6. Other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Duties: This position requires no supervisory responsibilities.

1. Working knowledge of general PC and internet functionality
2. Preferred coding languages/platforms include: C#, ASP.Net, Visual Studio, SQL Server, Team Foundation Server, HTML, Javascript, CSS, and XML.
3. Individual must also be proficient in using Microsoft Office products.
4. Understands database design and usage.

V. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

1. Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related area.
2. 0-2 years’ software development experience.
