Job Description

Job Summary

Senior Applications Engineer with expert measurement knowledge (theory and practice) in on-wafer semiconductor device test for logic and memory devices.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Support on-wafer semiconductor testing including prober setup and various testers configuration. Communicate key specification on PCB and MLO design to internal PCB design group and present to customers.

· Support sales department from feasibility through implementation of design and manufacturing of products including after delivery technical support and customer validation. Ensure that products are developed that meet target market needs. Recommend product improvements, changes, and enhancements.

· Creation and delivery of application notes and technical papers for customers and technical events. Provide sales and application support for worldwide engineering teams and sales managers. Customers' on-site support is required.

· Continual learning to increase technical expertise and knowledge. Attend conferences and customer meetings, and keep up with the latest technical measurement techniques and customer needs.

· Travel up to 30% both domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

· Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Degree or equivalent. Master of Science in Electrical Engineering Degree preferred

· Expert knowledge in radio frequency simulation preferred

· 4 - 6 years (preferred) of combined experience in semiconductor industry related to applications, development, or product engineering

· Familiarity with on-wafer probe stations and various testers configuration in production testing

· Experience using test instrumentation such as probe card analyzers, oscilloscopes, and network analyzers

· CAD design experience with Solidworks, Cadence Allegro, and PADS

· Ability to create and deliver technical presentation

· Experience working directly with customers

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Demonstrated success working both independently and in a team environment

· Strong sense of ownership and accountability

· Proficient in Microsoft Office, design tools, and enterprise resource planning applications
