Job Description

Radiant Global Logistics in looking for a IT Help Desk - Tier 1 support person to join our team in Renton, WA.

You will provide support to end users for computer, application, system, device, access and hardware issues. Identifies, researches and resolves technical problems of low to moderate complexity. Responds to telephone, email and online requests for technical support. Documents, tracks and monitors the problem using applicable systems and tools. May coordinate with other teams or departments to resolve user problems

Requirements

  • 1+ year of phone support (customer service or IT support over the phone)
  • Experience supporting end users with internal lines of business applications and commercial software
  • Must have experience with Microsoft Office products. (setting up email, assisting users with creating Excel reports, using Word, and navigating the Office 365 portal)
  • Experience with basic web browser troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Active Directory – User activation/deactivation, password reset
  • Should have basic printer knowledge – how to install printers, change toners, troubleshoot errors, etc.
  • Should understand basic PC troubleshooting (how to manage power options, control panel, join to domain, change PC name, image PCs)
  • Experience with VPN networking and basic home office router troubleshooting for remote employees (recommended but not required)
  • Looking for a long-term position with opportunities to advance.

Work Schedule

  • Hours will typically be Monday through Friday between 5:00am and 5:30pm Pacific
  • Flexibility to work extended hours or the occasional weekend

Physical and Environmental Conditions

  • Sitting for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to lift- up to 40 pounds
  • Repetitive motions i.e. keyboarding.
  • Over the phone support via a headset in an open office row of desks setup
