Job Description
We are seeking a Surveyor Field Party Chief to become an integral part of our team! You will provide construction surveying, topographic survey, and land survey field work. Work will be mostly outdoors and will require good physical condition. Work will be in all weather conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise field crew and equipment
- Perform topographic survey including field sketching
- Perform construction staking
- Read and comprehend construction site plans
- Field staking for earthwork, water line, sewer line, storm drain line, and paving construction including blue tops
- Boundary survey and property monument location
- Representative of the company on project site and report activity back to office personnel
Qualifications:
- 2-5 year experience in construction survey or other related fields
- Familiarity with Leica Survey equipment
- Familiarity with GPS Survey equipment
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
