(TLI) is looking for dynamic  secondary education teachers (grades 6 through 12) to work full-time in our schools & programs across New Castle County.  We are hiring for all core disciplines (Math; ELA; Science; Social Studies), as well as for special education teaching/instruction.  Teachers are responsible for delivering quality instruction to a diverse student population.  Our teachers are expected to set ambitious learning goals for their students and work to achieve them by utilizing research-supported teaching strategies, forming positive relationships with students predicated on high expectations, and being a good steward of their students’ learning and outcomes. 

Our teachers are salaried, full-time employees with full benefits that include medical/dental insurance; life insurance; 401(k); and paid time off.

The ideal candidate will possess a valid Delaware teaching certificate or be eligible for certification.  Being dually certified in a core subject and special education is a plus.

Our teachers work collaboratively with teams of education and mental health professionals to provide alternative education services to students who have struggled with behavior in their traditional public schools.  Our mission is to help our youth feel connected, valued, and challenged to positively transform their lives.
