Senior Developer

Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Software Developer to join their software development team. This company provides web-based software for IEPs, Medicaid billing, Multi-Tiered System of Support, Educator Evaluations, and more. In this role, you will collaborate with other developers to maintain and expand their applications. This is a great position for someone looking to help junior developers and wanting to grow within the company.

Responsibilities:

• Debugging
• Work on development projects varying in scope and complexity
• Create and maintain internal API's
• Develop unit tests
• Maintain documentation
• Attend daily/weekly developer meetings
• Collaborate with other developers to design, build, and maintain applications
• Use JIRA to plan daily/weekly work

• Minimum 3-5 years experience writing code in PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Experience working with relational and normalized database structures
• Experience with git
• Expertise in object-oriented programming
• Familiar with linux command line
• Expertise with MVC frameworks
• Knowledge of working with API's
• College degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

• Experience with dependency injection patterns
• Experience writing units tests or test driven development environments
• Experience and knowledge of AWS products, and Redis
• Experience with the OWASP top 10
