Mechanical Design Engineer

An international manufacturing corporation is searching for a Mechanical Design Engineer to do a variety of work to support their engineering team. The ideal candidate has experience in the mechanical / industrial manufacturing industry and is familiar with CAD software design. The candidate possesses both a high level of technical expertise and an innate passion to build. You will play a critical role in creating and refining processes to improve manufacturing safety, quality, and productivity. 

Mechanical Design Engineer Responsibilities Include:

• Review product design to ensure quality standards and specifications
• Develop, monitor, and review foundry processes, and investigate inefficiency and conduct adjustment
• Maintain drawings related to quality control functions
• Communicate with the production team or the other engineer departments
• Identify root causes in the production processes
• Respond to client questions, concerns, and requests
• Other Duties as assigned by Supervisor or Management.

Mechanical Design Engineer Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/ Industrial/ Manufacturing Engineering
• Design experience is a plus
• Excellent organizational skills
• Communication skills are important!
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs. and perform regular physical activity
