IT Specialist

IT Support Specialist is responsible for maintaining computer systems and other technologies. 

Their duties include working install hardware and troubleshoot computer issues, responding to IT questions from CIMPAR employees and updating malware protection devices to prevent viruses or computer hacking. As well as maintaining the office cloud component MDM and Azure.

**Non-Remote**

IT Specialist Responsibilities:

• Maintaining working components through repair or replacement
• Regularly evaluating our IT systems to ensure they meet the necessary demands.
• Assisting with network administration tasks. (Lining cable, connecting users to the cloud and database locally and remotely, familiar with active director and Microsoft Azura)
• Ensuring data storage is safe and secure. Through industry standard security measures.
• Supporting the day-to-day operations of our computer network. (Such as VPNs, Hyper-V, remote access, and logins to 3rd party software)
• Maintain inventory of and keep track of all company phones, Computers, laptops, and other technical equipment
• Degree in computer science or a related field is required
• 12-years experience in IT support in a healthcare organization is required.  
• Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication ability, both written and verbal able to work with a team.
• Personable, professional demeanor. 

Using ticketing system, assisting call-ins or live chat with technical difficulties such as with hardware and software. (such as replacement of equipment, printer, computer and server issues)

Review diagnostics and assess the functionality and efficiency of systems, as well as Implement security measures.

Monitor security certificates and company compliance of requirements (HIPPA compliance)

Install and update company software and hardware as needed.

Anticipate and report the cost of replacing or updating computer items.
