Technical Solutions Specialist III - Search Organization - Job Description

The Search Responsibility team is part of Users and Products, on a sub-team called Search Journeys and Platforms. We work on critical projects within the Search organization include Big Moments, Civics, Crisis Response, Economic Security, and Sustainability. We're looking for a technical solutions specialist to work on Search Sustainability (s12y) and Big Moments.

Overall Responsibilities: (Share 2-3 sentences about the POSITION)

Sustainability: There are multiple launches planned for the s12y team over the duration of the rotation, with a goal of reaching 1B users across various journeys through Search to help users make informed decisions and sustainable choices. You will work on delivering recipe ingredient insights, electric vehicle information, home energy choices, etc.

Big Moments: In this role, you'll be interacting with partners to ensure data from their sources is loaded correctly into our internal systems. Drive QA work and provide validated data to cross functional teams that ultimately surfaces to users. There is an existing process of managing livestream videos for ephemeral events which needs looking after and is ripe for a process refresh.

Top 3 Daily Responsibilities: (3+ bullets of the main responsibilities on the assignment)

•Develop a user feedback strategy for both Big Moments and Sustainability. Maintain a pulse on user feedback and find opportunities to provide meaningful feedback to product teams to improve the user experience.

•Identify and drive recommendations to drive operational improvements. This includes scaling and optimizing support within the product area, leading cross functional teams to execute against recommended plans.

•Engage and partner with with PM / Eng to drive adoption on programs - create strong trusted advisor relationships with entire working group

Technical Solutions Specialist III - Search Organization - Mandatory Skills

Mandatory Skills/Qualifications: (All skills, both technical and soft, required to be successful in the role)

•Education: Degree and field- Total years' experience in what industry, discipline, or responsibility (ex. 4+ years' experience as a Database Developer specifically in implementing ETL packages): Skills or processes candidates must have to be considered for role (ex. 3+ years' experience writing SQL code).

•Specific Tools or Applications experience (ex. Google Apps, Salesforce CRM, etc) Certification or license (ex. CPA, PMP, Cisco)

•Web Technologies, Python, HTML, App Script, JavaScript, Project Management

Non-Essential Skills/Qualifications: (Skills that would be nice to have but are not essential in the role)
