Duties/Responsibilities:

1. Prepared to carry a scraping tool to clean any residue that may accumulate while loading certain types of materials.
2. Must check that safety pins are present and utilized for each load to ensure doors do not open while in transit.
3. Transports materials to and from construction sites.
4. Monitor amount of material is loaded to ensure load does not exceed the legal limit or lead to dropping material while in transit.
5. Maintain accurate work tickets based on the company’s requirements and the work performed for the customer. Writing all details of the job which was performed. Turn in paperwork as frequently as possible to office personnel to ensure timely processing.
6. Ensure equipment is clean or completely empty to ensure there is no cross contamination of materials.
7. Inspect equipment to ensure doors are opening and closing properly.
8. Inspects and fuels vehicle prior to beginning shift.
9. Keep accurate log, pre-trip/post-trip inspections using provided DVIR, and JSA’s. Abide by all FMCSA DOT regulations while operating a company CMV.
10. Alerting appropriate supervisor when mechanical defects are noted on truck.
    
11. Driver’s must maintain Class A CDL throughout their employment without any restrictions preventing them from being able to cross state lines
12. Performs other related duties as assigned.
