Business Systems Analyst: Production Planning and Quality Management

Position Overview/Roles and Responsibilities:
• Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) and provide expert support to the business on current and new functionalities.
• Serve as the primary contact for internal business partner for the functional area
• Translate business requirements into a functional design.
• Create functional specifications and work with cross-functional teams and development teams to deliver technical objects.
• Review and contribute to design document, configuration documents and functional specifications
• Conduct unit and Integration testing and regression testing
• Support business units production processes and all associated business systems functions.
• Analyze business processes, perform fit-gap analysis as required, and provide business unit teams with cost efficient proposal on inefficiencies and risks to determine appropriate process and system design.
• Work with IT and business teams to optimize and streamline business processes and technical solutions.
• Identify gaps between current and future state of business processes and helps in prioritizing opportunities to improving processes through the usage of Business capability matrix (BCM)
• Be able to lead and facilitate business user meetings to gather process information.
• Conduct QA validations and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) tests on various initiatives.
• Conduct deployment activities for supply chain projects and provide training to new users
Education/Experience:
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in a full cycle implementation as well as in support projects.
• Minimum of 5 years designing and configuring PP modules knowledge of the key integration points between the other SAP modules (MM and QM experience is an asset).
• 6+ years related experience covering Business system analyst, and prior demonstrated implementation experience on at least one package ERP application. SAP experience with a strong lead role in implementation is preferred
• Bachelors degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Hands on experience in Manufacturing, MRP (planning), Demand management, Inventory management.
• Very conversant with a track record of implementing repetitive manufacturing business process supporting make to order and stock to order process.
• Must have SAP EHP7 experience.
• Prior experience with global organizations and multi-language environments.
• Medical devices computer systems validation (CSV) process knowledge is a must and have demonstrated experience of managing projects with Medical devices Part 11 compliance requirements.

o Production Order Types
o Production Order and Process Order Confirmation
o Working knowledge of PP/MM/WM integration
o Discrete/Repetitive/Rework/Process Order execution configuration and process knowledge
