VP of Marketing

LeagueSpot is looking for a VP of Marketing to lead marketing efforts for the company, including the ability to develop and implement strategic marketing plans to grow LeagueSpot’s brand reach, engage and inform existing clients, and build interest and excitement in new clients. The position is full-time and reports directly to the COO.

Responsibilities:

• Forecast, identify, and socialize key market opportunities and segments

• Design and implement a holistic marketing strategy that defines LeagueSpot’s target market, grows its total brand reach, surprises and delights current clients, and builds interest in prospects

• Establish SEO and sales funnel best practices

• Develop and manage publishing workflows that support company and client needs

• Track and manage key insights to measure the success of various initiatives

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of growth marketing experience within the gaming,SAAS or esports spaces.

• Proven ability to grow earned media channels with the gaming, SAAS or esports spaces.

• Experience managing and optimizing a digital marketing budget

• Ability to manage creative projects and resources effectively leveraging both internal team members and external agency support.

• Fluency in gaming & esports marketing trends

• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, ability to take feedback

Bonus Points if you Have:

• Senior brand management experience at a AAA publisher, SAAS or esports company

• Experience building and managing influencer marketing networks and campaigns.

• Experience managing marketing, PR or creative agencies.

• Corporate and consumer facing live event experience.

• Livestream broadcast production experience.

• Experience with elements of a modern marketing toolkit including things like video and graphic production software, marketing platforms such as Adobe marketing cloud or HubSpot, email marketing tools and/or social listening tools.

• Grassroots esports experience

Compensation and Perks:

• This is a remote position but may require travel to industry events, less than 5 trips per year.
