Job Title: Customer Sales & Service Advocate
Duration: 6+ Months

Job Responsibilities:
The primary purpose of this job is to increase the number of agents we have insured in our E&O programs. The primary functions are making outbound calls/emails, responding to inbound requests and working through a consultative sales process with principal insurance agents to move them to a decision to bind coverage with one of our programs.
CORE JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Outbound marketing to principal insurance agents (email and phone): these activities include creating marketing material, coordinating efforts with our communications team and making direct calls to agents.
- Consultative selling process: this process requires mid to high level of sales experience, knowledge of insurance policies, understanding of difference agency models and underwriting curiosity.
- Policy and scenario review: this requires knowledge of insurance policies and analytical skills to compare coverages and policy definitions.
- Planning, measuring, recording tracking quotes, binds and quote to bind ratio: this requires organization, self-motivation, use of technology, time management skills and analytical skills.
- Xdate tracking and planning: this requires organization and use of technology.
- Use of systems and websites: this requires flexibility and agility to work with several different types of systems and websites.
- Coordinating with others: this requires strong social skills to work with and coordinate efforts with other team members, Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Undergraduate degree preferred but not required.
- Licenses: P&C insurance license required at date of hire or within 6 months.
- 2 years in Sales, Customer Service, Underwriting.
- Insurance certifications preferred ongoing education is expected.
- Writing skills with the audience of principal agents in mind, strong verbal/phone skills, ability to write and use phone scripts.
- Use of basic excel functionality, sales and consultative selling skills, adaptability to prospects.
