Intellisense Systems, Inc. is looking for a proven Electronics Engineer, Power Systems to join our Airborne Systems team. You will develop mission-critical power supplies, control, and distribution electronics for a variety of avionics applications while working alongside experienced technical staff. You will have the opportunity to influence and shape designs and architectures to meet power demands of components and systems while meeting qualification standards for new product development.

As a technical contributor, you are responsible for development, component selection, design, and testing of power systems for new and ongoing projects including presenting design trades and artifacts during internal and customer-facing design reviews. What You'll Do:

+ Participate in power system development activities including design, implementation, integration, and test of components and subsystems for use in avionics and defense applications.

+ Engineer prototypes and pre-production articles that meet requirements for demonstration, design verification, and formal qualification testing.

+ Prepare documentation to meet internal and contract requirements including reports that meet Intellisense standards.

+ Strong verbal and written communication skills demonstrated through the preparation of documentation, technical reports, and presentations at meetings.

+ Conduct business travel for meetings and milestones such as design reviews, testing, and demonstration events.

+ Interface effectively with people at all levels from diverse backgrounds.

+ Conduct and lead meetings with our customers, subcontractors, and vendors.

+ Other duties as assigned by management.

What You'll Bring:

Required:

+ BS EE or Applied Physics

+ 2-5 years of hand-on development experience.

+ Must demonstrate proficiency and knowledge in concept to production cycle including design, test, evaluation, analysis and certification of system, hardware, and software architecture.

+ Experience developing and qualifying systems to meet military standards including MIL-STD-704, -464, -461, -810.

+ Support development of System and Design Documentation on strategic programs including: ICDs, Test Plans and Procedures, Standards Documents, CM, ATP, ESS, DVTP, QTP / QTR, etc.

+ Experience with engineering tools including Altium or SolidWorks

+ Experience preparing technical proposals and reports.

+ U.S. Citizenship is required.

Preferred:

+ MS EE, Applied Physics, or similar area

+ Awareness of modular open system architecture system (MOSA) solutions including OpenVPX power slot profiles.
