National Grid Renewables is seeking a Sr. Full Stack Developer to join our growing Information Technology Team. This role will provide the expertise necessary to develop and drive forward our organization's cloud-based big capabilities as we align our processes and technologies.
Job Description:
  • Design technical web solutions to solve business problems
  • Sub-divide solutions into manageable tasks and track them using product management tools
  • Conduct code reviews, mentor, and facilitate the growth of web development capabilities
  • Take ownership of the delivery of a software product from inception through adoption
  • Develop trusted relationships with business partners to ensure adoption of new technology and processes
  • Support and develop data integration processes into Azure data analytics platform
  • Configure the processing and extraction of data sources at scale
  • Create, deploy, and manage Azure services, and cloud-based applications
  • Gather business requirements, develop logical solutions, assess implementation alternatives, and formulate overall design approaches
  • Responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of applications while adhering to standards developed by Data Architect
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 5 years minimum Information Technology development/support experience
  • Strong knowledge and experience in System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) project management and applicability of IT controls to development deliveries
  • 3-5 years of Microsoft SQL Server experience
  • 3+ years of experience with C#.NET Development or Python
  • 3+ years of experience with Front-end Languages and Frameworks (HTML, CSS, Javascript)3-5 years of experience with Microsoft Azure environments
  • 5-7 years of successful enterprise solutions in the role of application developer
  • Strong experience with the following (.Net Framework, C#, JavaScript, JQuery, AngularJS, VueJS, WCF, ADO.NET, Entity Framework, MVC, HTML)
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure Analytics suite (Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Hubs, Data Factory, Data Lake, Azure Data Warehouse)
  • Technology experience using: Python, U-SQL, or R
  • Experience in design and development of Web applications, Web APIs or RESTful Web services, API management and Mobile Cloud Services like Azure
  • Proficient in T-SQL writing stored procedures, CTEs, complex joins, etc
  • Experience with power platform (power apps, power automate)
  • Experience with Azure DevOps and project management
  • Experience in code versioning tools (such as Git)
