Job Description

We are seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician or Technologist to join our team! You will be responsible for performing molecular PCR testing. Previous experience preferred but willing to train the right individual.

Responsibilities:

Able to perform all testing according to Standard Operating Procedure’s applicable to position.
Must be able to pay attention to details.
Familiar with terminology and ranges of the calibrations, Ct vlaues and cutoff ranges.
Adheres to Quality Control procedures recognizing the mean and standard deviations for the run and the role they play in determining the quality patient results.
Demonstrates accurate and precise pipetting techniques.
Maintain a clean work environment.
Demonstrates understanding of specimen and requisition requirements
Work under the supervision of a medical technologist.
Able to navigate various computer systems including Excel, Outlook and LIMS for accessioning, resulting and reporting.
