IT Business Analyst (Contract) - Care Management Systems

Duties & Qualifications:

- 5 years of experience in Healthcare insurance industry with a Payer / Health Plan

- 5 years lead business analyst experience in a client-facing role on business analysis and strategy consulting services or professional services engagements

- Previous experience implementing a care/case management solution in a payer setting (or as part of a population health management team in a provider organization) is required.

- Key responsibilities will include though not limited to:  Requirements Gathering,  Developing Process Flows, Developing Functional/Technical Specifications, System Configuration, and Testing

- Strong knowledge of healthcare, care management processes and utilization management processes (e.g. authorizations, assessments, etc.) is required.

- A strong understanding of reporting and analytics is also required (SQL skills would be a plus).

- The role will include significant client interaction so we are looking for a team player with excellent communications skills.

· Must have experience implementing/supporting the following Care Management platforms: Altruista GuidingCare 

- Experience with Medicaid, Medicare, and Commercial Health Plan/Payer products and requirements

- Strong analytical skills are required

- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) are required

- Must be a self-starter but also know how to work in a dynamic team environment

- Must be experienced and proficient with MS Office, Visio, PowerPoint; MS Project is optional but nice to have

- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance or related field

- Master’s Degree preferred
