Job Description

Job Title: Assistant Store Manager                                       Location: Cannabliss & Co.

Hours: Variable; Non-Exempt                                              Supervisor: Store Manager

 

 

Summary:  To assist the store manager to ensure the smooth operation of the dispensary by overseeing and directing all day-to-day operations, including overseeing all Budtenders, Front Desk staff, and Assistant Managers.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Delivers a superior level of customer service, both in person and on the phone.
  2. Consistently models professionalism; serves as a role model to dispensary staff during periods of high stress and ambiguity.
  3. Maintains highest level of compliance at all times and ensures all proper legal and Company policies and procedures are strictly followed.
  4. Work with store manager to diffuse difficult situations and ensures issues are resolved to the member's satisfaction while upholding company standards.
  5. Have knowledge of METRC including but not limited to pre-roll and moisture adjustments.
  6. Compare safe inventory to retail inventory in daily audits.
  7. Accurately balance cash drawer at the end of each day.
  8. Maintain appropriate retail floor stock levels and display quality.
  9. Work with the Store Manager to communicate any and all issues that come up at the shop.
  10. Be able to find necessary footage in the store camera system.
  11. Maintains a clean, safe, and welcoming environment inside and outside the facility; has a high attention to detail and regularly reviews facility needs and communicates them to the appropriate parties.
  12. Follow company policies and procedures.
  13. Other duties as assigned.

 

Education, Licensing, Work Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • OLCC Marijuana Handler's Permit

 

Other Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of computer and office equipment and programs (inventory systems; Word; Excel)
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to focus; attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to remain calm in periods of high stress or unusual activity


Physical Demands:

  • Extended time standing, sitting, walking, bending, and reaching
  • Close visual focus required
  • This position occasionally requires the extended and repetitive use of arms, hands and fingers to cut and manipulate small objects
