Job Description

Call Center Representative / Scheduler - Novato - 3-4 months - To $28/hour

Award-winning organization seeks courteous and helpful Call Center Representative / Scheduler to provide exceptional customer service to patients over the phone. Join a positive, high-energy team that takes pride in knowing they’re making a positive impact on the health of patients and their families!

Start: ASAP
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
Duration: 3-4 months
Location: Onsite in Novato
Background Check / Drug Screen: Hire contingent on a clear criminal background check and drug screen per federal guidelines.
COVID: Vaccination and first booster are required

Responsibilities:

Answer incoming phone calls and direct them to appropriate individual or department
Schedule appointments for patients according to established protocols
When scheduling appointments, verify patient demographics and insurance eligibility and benefits
Enter patient demographic information into electronic medical record system
Provide clinical staff with timely and clear communication regarding patient needs
Prepare patient files
Scan patient information and route as needed

Qualifications:

At least one year of related office experience, preferably in a healthcare environment
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Computer proficiency; MS Office Suite preferred
EMR experience (EPIC a plus)
Demonstrated punctuality, reliability, and professionalism
