Summary:
We're a diverse and experienced group of creatives, engineers, researchers, innovators-and as the NYC outpost of Samsung HQ's NextGen UX Lab, we design the future of mobile experiences... defining what user experiences should be, sometimes before they are possible.
By leveraging both research insights and focused experimentation, you will collaborate with teammates to develop frameworks and innovative experiences across any and all of Samsung's current and future - mobile devices. Your tech-forward creative thinking, investigative prototyping and programming, and iterative mindset will push forward the collective intellect of the studio, while you also continually add to a kit of real, working experiences and exploratory tools. All of the members of the studio regardless of their vertical - are partners in the process from the beginning of any project. We all add our diverse expertise to early stage work, to think broadly and incisively. Are comfortable conceptually and technically with a variety of devices, from mobile to wearable to XR.
Must have strong XR development experience.
Have a strong understanding of UX design principles and best practices and their applications.

Minimum Qualifications:
3-4 years of experience in creative technology, or similar role in interactive content creation, experience design, video games or immersive media, or other related narratives, as well as UX Design experience in immersive experiences
Portfolio of projects that demonstrate your skills as a technologist/developer/designer
Programming generalist, with experience in some/all of the following: JavaScript, NodeJS, React, Ruby/Rails, Python, Object-Oriented Programming, C#, generative design, ML, etc.
Experience in Extended Reality MR, AR, VR, Spatial UX
3+ years of experience with XR programming framework such as Unity (preferred), Unreal, WebGL, or other related technologies.
Comfortable with code management and version control.
Preferred Qualifications / bonus points if you have:
Familiar with web, backend and frontend technologies (Swift, Java, Python, HTML/CSS)
Familiar with electrical hardware and rapid prototyping, and comfortable creatively developing experiences which leverage multiple discrete hardware platforms
Experience with motion (After Effects, i.e.) or 3D design (Cinema 4D, Blender, etc.)
Experience in the consumer electronics market
Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and change.
