ACCOUNT SUPERVISOR

As an Account Supervisor at Motive you’ll have the opportunity to manage the integrated day-to-day efforts with key client relationships and accounts. You’ll write briefs, lead creative and partnership initiatives, manage communications, budgets and timelines, collaborate with creative and other internal and external teams, while managing a variety of projects. You’ll be responsible for championing best-in-class work across traditional, retail, promotional, partnerships, experiential and more – working with an integrated account team split between Los Angeles and Denver.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage the agency’s day-to-day efforts with a global high-profile key client team.
  • Manage a variety of workstreams including TVC, retail / shopper, POS / POP,  partnerships, events and promotional projects, including creation of timelines, workflows, and budgets.
  • Strategically advise clients on solutions that achieve business, marketing and engagement objectives.
  • Manage global brand partnerships and licensing opportunities, alongside an internal business affairs team, serving as the expert on evaluating, negotiating, and activating agreements with entertainment, sports and celebrity properties.
  • Serve as key contact for international marketing teams; managing communication and asset distribution, and serving as the central touch point for questions and support.
  • Oversee local adaptations of global campaign and partnership work, ensuring brand and program messaging and execution remain consistent.
  • Participate in and/or lead big idea thinking sessions for the agency.
  • Acquire in-depth knowledge of, and be conversant in, assigned client’s business, products, industry and competitive landscape.

 

Candidate Requirements: 

  • A minimum of 6 years of experience managing integrated (read: a combination of traditional, retail, shopper, partnerships and promotional) projects and accounts in a fast-paced advertising agency.
  • Experience creating and managing budgets and timelines for projects covering all of the above.
  • Previous experience supporting international program rollout and management.
  • Previous experience working with entertainment partnerships and programs.
  • Previous experience with licensing and merchandising, including exposure to legal and contract review.
  • Experience managing several clients/client teams simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a knack for delivering excellent presentations and building relationships.
  • A strong attention to detail and organizational prowess.
  • A strong ‘self-starter’ mentality and sense of responsibility.
  • A thorough understanding of the agency process and agency/client relationship model.
  • A positive, upbeat attitude!

The starting salary for this position is between $70,000 and $100,000 annually, based on experience and the Denver, CO market. Actual pay may vary if located in our LA, NYC, or Toronto locations.
