Role: Field System Performance Engineer

Location: Troy, NY. Onsite is required.

Expected Duration: FES Long term SOW project.

Job Description:

• Required work experience in RF Optimization for LTE/VoLTE/ 5G (Samsung [UXM] preferred)
• 2-years of working experience in 5G RF optimization projects and/or 5G RF design (C-band & mmWave preferred)
• Knowledge in RF Optimization Layer 3 analysis experience using tools Cluster Optimization, providing recommendations to improve coverage, mobility, traffic management, throughput, etc Experience with Multi-Layer Cluster Optimization including 5G/LTE/UMTS
• Network performance problem detection and solution methods, e.g., throughput issues, drop call rates, access/rach failures etc
• Knowledge of running traces for troubleshooting/analysis
• Knowledge of the various drive testing equipment such as DMAT,TEMS, X-CAL, XCAP, Windcatcher.
• The work will be 50% in office & 50% on Field as and when needed.
