Network Analyst II

Network Analyst II job in Cent. OH. Duties: Analysis, design, planning, installation & configuration of network & telephony infra. communication protocols, access method techs, wireless infra., hardware & software & security. Develop policies, procedures, standards, architecture diagrams & docs, including inventory & protocol managmtn of production network & telephony environmts. Develop/implemt measures to analyze workloads, capacity utilization & service level commitmnts of network & telephony comps. Monitor network capacity & performnc; change to improve utilization, stability & availablty to set tech. directions & service level agreements. Resolve connectivity/performnce issues of network infra., telephony sys. & business apps. Research, design, test & implement new tech. to improve network servcs, operations, managmnt, security & business objectives. Product selection proposals & solution recommendations. Plan, manage & complete network & telephony changes to support user & app. initiatives & minimize service disruptions. Maintain audit compliant sys. through policies/procedures & best practics. Root cause analysis of network & telephony service disruptions & performance issues. Tech. input & review of proposals requests & aid in selection of consulting & external servces. Requires: Bachelors degree or foreign equiv. in COMP. SCI., or ENGIN. 2 yrs of exp in LAN/WAN & design, planning, installation & configuration of voice and/or data networks.
