Job Description

The Bilingual (English and Spanish) Fingerprint Technician based in Anne Arundel, MD will serve as a shared team member for multiple divisions within the company, with the primary responsibility of capturing fingerprints for various request types. This position will also assist the department with daily functions by providing exceptional administrative support and excellent customer service.

Position Duties:

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Assisting applicants via email/telephone
  • Taking appointments
  • Handling payments
  • Fingerprinting (does not require prior knowledge)
  • Traveling to off-site locations to perform fingerprinting services
  • Must also be trained to fingerprint and must pass fingerprint training

Education & Qualification Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED Required.
  • Must pass a thorough background check to include fingerprinting
  • Required to pass a certified fingerprint technician course through the State of Maryland.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office required

  • Able to multitask efficiently and effectively
  • Bilingual- Spanish and English
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Highly organized
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment
  • High level of customer services, regularly interacts with customers
  • Proficiency with general computer/system navigation

  • Must be willing to cross-train and assist in other areas as needed

Disposition Research Cross Training Responsibilities:

  • Quickly & effectively research information online for court records
  • Thoroughly review the court records to gather needed information
  • Enter gathered information into spreadsheet for leadership review

Maintain in-depth working knowledge of departmental guidelines & processes
