Developer Analyst I

Our Client, the World’s leading Healthcare Company, is looking for a Developer Analyst I to join their team!

Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented individual with familiarity of medical claims data for a Developer Analyst I who participates in the back-end quality assurance and testing of a key strategic enterprise analytics platform. Responsible for developing and updating test plans. Maintains test automation as needed. Supports quality assurance standards.

Main Responsibilities:

• Creates testing conditions, testing modifications for development of medical claims analytics application.
• Participates in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing, and certification of final output.
• Interprets user requirements and updating a quality test plan.
• Performs quality assurance testing, automation as needed.
• Documents testing results and coordinates with developers on test issues.
• Communicates with multiple levels of personnel.
• Documents and submits status reports.

Skills and Abilities:

• 6 months to one year of experience
• 6 months to one year JAVA and DB2 - MUST HAVE
• Two+ years programming in SQL including stored procedures
• Two+ years with relational database development in SQL Server
• Strong knowledge and understanding of Medical claims data elements
• Ability to apply proficient knowledge with source code control tools such as Git and VSTS
• Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies a plus
• Experience with Hadoop, Scala, and Spark a plus
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
• Ability to be careful and thorough with detail.
• Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative environment.
• Ability to analyze information and use logic to address work related issues and problems.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience required
• 2+ years related experience including back-end design, maintenance and delivery

Additional Experience:

• Detail oriented, good communication skills.
• Healthcare experience a plus. 
• Experience with Microsoft SQL server.
• Experience with Hadoop a plus. 
• 2+ years programming in SQL or TSQL

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

Duration: 5 months
